Retirement age investors look out over a body of water

Concerns of Retirement-Age Investors, Global Atlantic Study

Our client Global Atlantic Financial Group recently published results from the Retirement Risk Reset study we conducted in August. Overall, we found that retirement-age investors are attuned to low interest rates and inflation, and are open to professional financial help to navigate these economic conditions.

Key takeaways include the following:

  • 71% of retirement age investors worry rising inflation will negatively affect their savings
  • Nearly half (46%) who have fixed income investments are concerned that low interest rates will impact their retirement income
  • 64% of retirement age investors are more open to financial advice than before the pandemic

Methodology: We surveyed retirement-age investors ages 59 to 75 with more than $250,000 in investable assets.
