Business Travelers Nervous at Train & Subway Stations, According to CWT Study

What makes business travelers nervous? Where do they feel safest?

We conducted research on business traveler safety and security for Carlson Wagonlit Travel earlier this year, and have already posted about some of our findings. Some fresh results on ground transportation safety concerns were published recently. Key findings:

  • Business travelers feel 50% safer at airports than at train or subway stations.
  • Female business travelers in Europe and Asia Pacific are more likely to feel nervous about personal safety in ridesharing services or taxis than men.
  • Millennial travelers, in all regions, are the most worried about ridesharing, followed by gen X and baby boomers.
