Business Travelers’ Health-Consciousness Increases During Trips, According to CWT Study

Our recent study for client CWT, in which we studied global business travelers’ health and wellness routines while on the road, was recently published. The research revealed that, overall, business travelers are more health-conscious during trips.

Detailed findings include the following:

  • Overall 38% of business travelers eat healthier while on work trips. Asia Pacific travelers are the most likely to do so (46%) compared to travelers in the Americas (35%) and Europe (29%).
  • Over one in four business travelers work out more while on the road. Travelers in Asia Pacific are likely to work out more (33%) while abroad, compared to travelers in the Americas (23%) and Europe (21%).
  • Only 7% of travelers say they do not adhere to their health and wellness routines while traveling. This is the case for only 3% of APAC travelers, 8% in the Americas and 10% in Europe.
