We partnered with the NFLPA for the first time this year on designing and analyzing the results of their second annual Club Report Cards. The idea behind this study is to “illuminate what the daily experience is for players and their families at each team” — by the players, for the players. The findings were recently released, to great success.
The Report Card goals were to highlight positive clubs, identify areas that could use improvement, and highlight best practices and standards.
NFLPA President JC Tretter gave a detailed backgrounder on the initiative, including the reasoning behind its design and how it built on the results of the first study.
We were impressed by this client and their dedication to supporting the success of professional football players, looking at each club as an employer and the players as employees. From coaches respecting players’ time to family accommodations on game day, the Players Association shows great care and concern for the health and well-being of the players they represent.
